Your MCP client sees these as callable tools and picks the right one per question — you just ask. The position tools read the curated, dated position ledger, so "has he changed his mind?" gets a verifiable answer, not a vibe.

  • ask_evgeny Ask a question, get an answer grounded in Evgeny's published writing — cited to source URLs, and it says so when the writing doesn't cover something.
  • search_writings Semantic + keyword search across the public corpus (essays, glossary, playbooks, standards, services) — ranked passages with titles and URLs.
  • get_essay Fetch a specific public essay by slug — synopsis, URL, and full text.
  • get_glossary_term Look up an operator-vocabulary term from the No Fluff glossary (e.g. 'signal containerization', 'AdCP', 'iROAS').
  • services_overview How to work with Evgeny — engagement types, who it is for, and how to get in touch.
  • ask_maddb Relay an advertising-vendor / market-data question to maddb.ai's MCP server live and return its answer — for company data, not Evgeny's writing.
  • get_position_history Dated history of Evgeny's position on a concept — current stances plus superseded, refined, and retracted predecessors, each with verbatim receipts.
  • get_current_position Evgeny's current position(s) on a concept — held stances only, with dates and verbatim receipts; superseded and retracted are excluded by construction.
  • get_position_evidence The full evidence record behind one position — authority bucket, dated receipts, the chain of prior versions, and any verified tensions currently recorded.
  • get_mind_changes Where Evgeny actually changed his mind — ordered supersession chains, dated, distinguishing refinements from reversals.

  • Your questions go to the Ask Evgeny worker to generate answers over public content only. They are not sold and not used to train anything.
